Human Origins
This year, geneticists have theorized that we all descended from a group of people who lived in Northern Africa 70 to 140 thousand years ago. Humans are so closely related to one another that we show less genetic differences than a small group of chimps. This lends credence to the original Out of Africa theory that humans evolved in Africa and then migrated to other continents. I find it fascinating that everyone in the world is so closely related. I'm sure someone will jump on this as proof that the Garden of Eden actually existed.
