Who's Got a Natural Cure For The Gullible?
You may have seen Kevin Trudeau on a late night infomercial on TV. His new book, Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You to Know About, is now included on many best seller lists including the New York Times list. On TV Kevin promises natural cures for just about everything including, of course, all kinds of cancers. I've always maintained that people are willing to believe just about anything and while this only helps to prove that point I feel this is the worst kind've hucksterism going. To prey upon people's desperation like this for money is so lacking in moral character he should be thrown in jail. But wait, the former used-car salesman (no chit) was once in prison for credit card fraud. The book has sold millions of copies, mostly in the US. Once again I thankfully like to believe that Canadians are less gullible. A quick check on Amazon here in Canada and it was listed as 4,300th on their list.
