Don't Call Terrorists Muslim
I've read about some folks being at odds with headlines that describe the latest terrorists as Muslim. It's as if being a Muslim had nothing to do with the terrorist activity itself and you'd be branding all Muslim's as terrorists. I'd buy into that if religion wasn't a root cause of the conflict itself indeed if it isn't the entire root cause. It would seem to me that religion is the prime motivator here as it's been for many a conflict throughout history. Now we don't have to go too far in today's world to not see that religion plays a huge role in the Israeli-Palestine conflict or how about anything that's been going on Ireland for years. I don't think that anyone is trying to say that all Muslim's are terrorists. But, it would be nice if more Muslim leaders would stand up and be counted as condoning terrorism. Or maybe that's more a news problem since maybe that wouldn't sell as many papers.
